SULLIVAN COUNTY — Looking to join a book club?  Check out the groups at Western Sullivan Public Library in June.

The Jeffersonville Book Club will meet Friday, June 14th at 4pm at the Jeffersonville Branch to discuss The Midnight Library by Matt Haig. “A feel-good book guaranteed to lift your spirits.”—The Washington Post

The Callicoon Book Club will meet Tuesday, June 18th at 5pm at Peppino’s Family Restaurant located at 31 Lower Main St. Callicoon, NY. We will discuss The Death of Vivek Oji by Awaeke Emezi. Named a Best Book of 2020 by The New York Times, The Washington Post, NPR, USA TODAY, Vanity Fair, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire, Shondaland, Teen Vogue, Vulture, Lit Hub, Bustle, Electric Literature, and BookPage.

The Narrowsburg Book Club meets Wednesday, June 26th at 11am at the Tusten-Cochecton Branch in Narrowsburg to discuss The Women by Kristin Hannah. From the celebrated author of The Nightingale and The Four Winds comes Kristin Hannah’s The Women at once an intimate portrait of coming of age in a dangerous time and an epic tale of a nation divided.
