Hello, all Sullivan County golfers. I usually don’t get started writing golf articles till April, but I am excited about a new feature that’s now available at Villa Roma. It’s the Foresight Golf Simulator located on the Lower floor of the Villa Roma golf clubhouse next to the 19th hole sports bar. You can play different courses around the world or just practice in the driving range mode. The feedback on your distance and accuracy is computed right on the screen after each swing. The fee is by the hour, whether you’re by yourself or split it with family or friends. This is a great way to have fun, have a drink, and a bite to eat at the 19th hole grill. Thanks to Joe Meyer for putting this together (physically, too). 

As most of you know by now, the Villa Roma is under new management. They are committed to making the golf experience the best it can be. After putting in a new irrigation system in 2024, the next improvements are scheduled for the Tee Boxes, Bunkers and Cart paths. 

Opening of the course always depends on the weather. Hopefully, we will get you all out there playing as soon as we can. Golf Memberships will be available shortly for the 2026 season. Villa Roma Golf Shop Liquidation Sale

All 2025 golf equipment and apparel will be put on clearance on Saturday, March 21, and Sunday, March 22 for two days only. Golf balls, shoes, shirts, outerwear, putters, irons, hybrids, and drivers. Hours will be from 11 am to 5 pm on both days.
