The official countdown to school has begun. Varsity and JV sports have begun at the high school, school supplies have been ordered and the kids (and parents) are ready for a routine to begin. 

Soaking up the last few weeks of nice summer weather and getting in a few last minute vacations is what these days are all about.

Here are some events and happening this week:

The Cochecton Volunteer Ambulance service will hold their annual Corn Hole Tournament on August 25th. Signups start at 12PM and bags fly at 1PM at the Lake Huntington Fire House  at 70 County Road 116, Lake Huntington, NY. 

There will be food available for purchase.  All proceeds from the event will go towards supporting the Cochecton Volunteer Ambulance service. Gather your teams, family, and friends and come join us for a day full of fun, laughter, and community spirit! 

The Lake Huntington Lake Association 2024 Gala is coming up on September 7th. Tickets will be available soon.

One of the highlights of this event has been the video showcasing our neighbors and their families sharing what they love about the lake, their favorite memories, and expressing their gratitude. Tickets are available now for the 12th Annual Ride to Survive Dinner Dance at The Club at Villa Roma on October 26 starting at 5:30 PM. This event is always a great time full of wonderful raffle baskets, dancing and music, dinner and drinks and so much more. Please contact a Board Member for tickets.
