SULLIVAN COUNTY – This summer, the Ramapo Catskill Library System (RCLS) invites residents and visitors to discover the diverse offerings of its member libraries throughout Sullivan County. Beyond books, these libraries provide a wealth of resources and programs designed to enrich, educate, and entertain community members of all ages.
Sullivan County libraries are hubs of innovation and community engagement. Many offer a “Library of Things,” allowing patrons to borrow non-traditional items such as board games, cake pans, fishing poles, musical instruments, and museum passes. These resources provide opportunities to try new hobbies, complete projects, or enjoy family activities.
Throughout the summer, libraries will host a variety of programs, including:
• Educational Workshops: Covering topics from digital literacy to gardening.
• Family-Friendly Activities: Storytimes, craft sessions, and game nights.
• Cultural Events: Author talks, film screenings, and local history presentations.
