Linda Mae Argentati of Liberty, NY, died peacefully Saturday, November 28, 2020, at the Care Center at Sunset Lake, Liberty, NY, surrounded by the love of her family, after a long and courageous battle against glioblastoma. Linda was the former Director of Guidance at Liberty Central School District, Liberty, NY, and a long time area resident. She was 55.

The daughter of the late Sante and Assunta Calabrese Argentati, Linda was born May 18, 1965 in Phillipsburg, NJ.

Linda was a vibrant and energetic person that believed life was to be experienced to the fullest. She treasured her relationships with her many dear and devoted friends, and found her greatest joy with her family. Linda lived a life of service, starting at a very young age and touching many lives. She was a counselor at Camp Hugh Beaver; a Resident Assistant at Hofstra University; a live in volunteer at a Long Island homeless shelter; a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity in Central America; a literacy volunteer in rural Kentucky with the Christian Appalachian Project; a communicant and Sunday School Teacher at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Liberty, NY; a softball, soccer, and little league coach; and beloved guidance counselor. Her smile, big brown eyes, and enthusiasm will be greatly missed.

Survivors at home include her husband Christopher Morgans; her son, Kevin James Morgans; and her daughter, Kelsey Marie Morgans. Additional survivors include one sister, Carol Schwar and her husband Michael of Alpha, NJ; one brother, David Argentati and his wife Christina of Mohnton, PA; her mother and father-in-law, Lynn and Margaret Morgans of Liberty, NY; brother-in-law, Shawn Morgans and his wife Mary of Chelsea, MI; and sister-in-law, Laurie Birrer and her husband Beat of Liberty, NY; her nieces and nephews, Megan (god daughter) and Matthew Schwar, Emily and Julia Argentati, and Brian Morgans.

The health and safety of our friends and family is very important to us. Please choose to honor Linda's memory in any way that you are most comfortable.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 2, 2020 from 4 to 7 PM in the Harris Funeral Home, West St. at Buckley, Liberty, NY. Social distancing guidelines must be met, a limited number of people at one time will be allowed in the funeral home, facemasks are required.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, December 3, 2020 at 10 AM in St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 264 No. Main Street, Liberty, NY. Father Edward Bader will officiate. A celebration of life is planned for May.

Burial will be in St. Peter's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Liberty, NY.
