Attendees of the YES YES YES Hurleyville Pride event on Saturday at the Hurleyville Performing Arts Centre (HPAC) were able to enjoy a free day party and carnival with the goal of celebrating love, self-expression, LGBTQIA+ Pride and the magic of summer in the Catskills.
The House of Yes returned again this year to add to the fun, putting on two circus shows and interacting with guests. The family-friendly event’s festivities also included a parade, dance party, guest speakers, several vendors, and more.
Following the event, HPAC Executive Director Erin Dudley expressed her gratitude to many in a post on social media, including HPAC and Tango Cafe staff, event volunteers, vendors, partners and sponsors, guests, the Town of Fallsburg and Fallsburg PD, and the House of YES. She concluded her statement by thanking the many event attendees for “celebrating love with us.”
“It was a beautiful, joyous day in our little hamlet of Hurleyville,” said Dudley. “We love Hurleyville!”
