MONTICELLO — The Lieutenant Governor of New York, Antonio Delgado, came out to Miss Monticello Diner on Tuesday to campaing for Paula Kay for election to the New York State Assembly representing District 100. 

Both Kay and Lt. Governor Delgado took time out to talk to community members who were in attendance and listen to their concerns. 

Prominent members of local government also made their way to the diner on Broadway, including District 1 Legislator Matt McPhillips, District 2 Legislator Nadia Rajsz, District 3 Legislator Brian McPhillips and DA Brian Conaty. 

“It feels good to listen to you communicate about the work and to connect the work to the community in the way that you are doing,” said Delgado. “There’s a seriousness to the way you are communicating, a thoughtfulness, a level of care and knowledge. It’s important that we continue the legacy of Aileen Gunther by getting behind somebody who has the integrity, the decency, the intellect and the ability to lead in a way that builds bridges."
