Margaret M. Brignoll, of Woodridge, NY, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at home. She was 78.

She was the daughter of the late Charles and Virginia Ryan, born on July 11, 1946 in Brooklyn, NY.

Margaret dedicated her life to taking care of her family and animals. She enjoyed spending time with her children, loved all animals especially the cats that she rescued. She could often be found feeding the deer and other animals around her home.

In her free time she enjoyed watching Charmed and Supernatural or scary movies. She was known to be a great cook, but did not enjoy baking, and she would never turn down Chinese food. Her favorite pastime was shopping at the grocery store, particularly at Wal-Mart.

She was selfless, loving, honest and a great listener; she was kind and cared for everyone. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children Joseph Rizzitano, Theresa Rizzitano, Lawrence Rizzitano and his wife Jen, John Brignoll and Jessica Brignoll; grandchildren Ashley Rizzitano, Samantha Rizzitano, Haley Rizzitano, Chase Blume and her feline companions Bogart “Bobo”, Honey, Phoebe and Murphy.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024, from 12-4:00pm at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, NY 12788.
