Micheline Gingras, a visual artist, presents her collages, “Uniting Our States” at the Grocery Store Gallery, 62 Main Street, Mountaindale, NY. Saturday July 13th, 2024, from 11am to 3pm.

“Uniting Our States,” was created with the hope to bring people closer together rather than being divided.

Micheline Gingras is a visual artist focusing primarily on painting, drawing, collages and photography. She received her MFA from l’Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Québec, moving to New York in 1970. 

She has shown her work extensively including solo exhibitions at Le Musée National des Beaux-Arts du Québec, Le Musée d’Art Contemporain de Montréal, and group exhibitions at the Yale University Gallery, and BRIC House in Brooklyn, among others. 

For 37 years, she taught art at Saint Ann’s School in Brooklyn, and now divides her time between NYC and Mountaindale.
