MONTICELLO — Monticello Police Chief Jason Corley is “no longer with the Village” according to Village Officials, as of April 9 after holding his position for just a few weeks.
Following Corley’s termination, Village Mayor Rochelle Massey instated Officer David Lindsey, a former Lieutenant, as the Acting Police Chief.
According to Village Manager James Snowden, Mayor Rochelle Massey and Trustee Gordon Jenkins voted on the decision.
“You’re going to see a lot of changes,” said Trustee Jenkins. “You’re going to see a lot of progress.”
