Moss Henry and the Bryophytes come to Honesdale

HONESDALE, PA — Moss Henry and the Bryophytes bring their mix of western-swing, country and western and some originals to the Wayne County Creative Arts Council’s summer series of concerts in Honesdale’s Central Park on Thursday, June 20th at 7:30.  The six piece band includes guitars, bass and fiddles as well as plenty of vocal harmonies. This group of veteran musicians with diverse backgrounds converge around their country roots.  Their repertoire brings memories of cowboy movies, honky tonks and the Opry.  Bring your cowboy hats and boots and get up and dance with them. While you’re at it grab some homemade ice cream.

Attendees should bring chairs or blankets for seating. Refreshments will be available for purchase. There is no charge for this event, though a freewill donation will be collected. For more information, contact Project Director Mitzi Kielar at 570-785-3674, or visit www.honesdaleparkevents.org.
