Narrowsburg welcomes bees back to the Hive

Honeybees may be small but they play a big role in our ecosystem, so in order to celebrate and educate, Narrowsburg decided to create a festival dedicated to them.

This past Saturday, they held their eighth annual Honeybee Fest on Main Street, and thanks to the hard work and dedication of many, the day was buzzing with activity and swarming with all things honeybee.

From the vendors offering products such as decadent honey ice cream, bubbling honey cider, delicious honey baked goods, honey infused whiskey, and honey cotton candy to the volunteers, visitors, and pups decked out in bee-witching costumes with wings, yellow and black stripes and antennas, to the art exhibitions, Wallenpaupack High School marching band, and DJ Catsilk keeping music on the street, the day was a stinging good time.
