NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF THE TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL. (PURSUANT TO SECTION 506 & 526 OF THE REAL PROPERTY TAX LAW)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Tentative Assessment Roll of the Town of Thompson for the year 2023 will be filed with the Town Clerk at the Town Hall, 4052 Route 42, Monticello, NY on May 1, 2023. Notice is also given that the Assessment Roll is available for review May 1, 2023 through May 19, 2023, Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, excluding holidays by prior arrangement with the Assessor. The roll may also be reviewed by prior arrangement with the Assessor on May 5th and May 6th from 8:30 AM to 12:00 Noon, May 11th from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and May 13th from Noon to 4:00 PM.

The Board of Assessment Review will meet for the purpose of hearing complaints on Tuesday May 23, 2023 from 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM. To schedule an appointment call (845) 794-2500 x 324. Please confirm with the Assessor’s Office prior to the hearing the means by which the public may participate. Complaint forms are available online at townofthompson.com.
