HONESDALE, PA — The Wayne County Arts Alliance (WCAA) and curators Marguerite (Maggie) Fuller, Phyllis Chekenian, and Dave Janiec are seeking submissions for the 2024 GREAT WALL OF HONESDALE (GWH).  All entrants pay a $30 entry fee and may submit up to 3 images of artwork through the website CaFE.  Creative interpretation of this year’s theme “JOURNEY” is encouraged.  The deadline for submission is March 24, 2024, and entrants will be notified on April 22, 2024.

The Great Wall of Honesdale is a well-known landmark in Wayne County, Pennsylvania.  Over five million cars drive past the Great Wall of Honesdale each year and view the large-scale 11 x 17 foot art panels.  In June 2024, twelve panels with newly selected artwork will be unveiled.  They remain on display for an entire year.  Chosen artwork is also displayed virtually as a permanent feature on the Great Wall of Honesdale’s website, which includes links to artist websites and/or social media account(s).  TheGreatWallofHonesdale.com
