Prestige Towing receives new SCVA Dove sign

Posted

The Sullivan Catskills Visitors Association (SCVA) saw a new addition to their ever-growing Dove Trail on Wednesday, March 27. The new Dove, located at Prestige Towing in Liberty, was painted by Kim Simons.

“This one was actually a fun one for me to do,” said Simons, “...all the colors and the psychedelics. So I loved doing this one, this was fun.”

Simons later described that this Dove was fun because she “didn’t have to think.”

She said that the one she was working on currently was so detailed and thus, difficult. She also described that she found great enjoyment in being told by the SCVA to just go [at it].

This Dove marks the 73rd sign on the Dove Trail. By the end of this year, the SCVA says they plan to have at least eighty.

As visitors embark on the trail they are invited to immerse themselves in a journey of both exploration and contemplation. Through this unique experience, they will have the opportunity to uncover hidden gems and breathtaking vistas while encountering an array of captivating works of art.

“The Dove Trail is really just continuing to grow and expand,” said SCVA Brand and Communications Manager Isabel Braverman. “It really highlights our local artists and our local businesses, which we’re always really proud to see.”
