Pull apart Buffalo Chicken Dip Sliders

This may be sac religious but there are two reasons why I watch the Super Bowl. 1. for the commercials and 2. for the food.

The actual football does not interest me even in the slightest. If I was asked who was playing, I don’t think I could tell you (and I know I’m not the only one).

Of course it’s the dips, chili, and apps that I always look forward to and what keeps me going. They are what gets me out of the house in the winter on a Sunday night. This slider recipe is super simple and combines everyone’s favorites: sliders and buffalo chicken wing dip. Coming from a girl that lived in Rochester and made buffalo chicken wing dip almost every weekend… this recipe will not disappoint.

To make you will need:

1 cup cooked shredded chicken (you can use the canned chicken if you’re looking for a shortcut)

1/2 cup buffalo sauce (I like red hots buffalo sauce)

1/2 cup fresh cilantro chopped

2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives

3 teaspoons dried parsley

1 teaspoon dried dill

2 tablespoons chopped green onions

1 package dinner rolls halved lengthwise

1/2 cup blue cheese dressing (some use ranch, whichever you prefer)

2 cups shredded white cheddar cheese

1-2 jalapeños sliced

2 tbsp butter

2 tbsps chopped parsley

1 -2 cloves garlic grated

I’ll give you a hot tip that some may use and some may not.

If you are in a pinch and don’t feel like cooking chicken, you can get a couple cans of chicken for this dish.

In a bowl combine the chicken, buffalo sauce, cilantro, chives, green onion, parsley, and dill. Place the bottom half of the rolls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment.

Spread with blue cheese and the buffalo chicken mixture. Ranch can absolutely be a substitute but I’ve always loved blue cheese in my buffalo chicken dishes.

Add the shredded cheese and jalapeños on top. Place the top half of the roll over the cheese. Mix the butter, parsley, and garlic and spread the butter over the top of the rolls to make a delicious garlic butter spread. Cover the rolls and bake 10 minutes. Remove the foil and bake another 10 minutes until the cheese is melted.

Of course, serve additional buffalo sauce for dipping. I’m making two batches of these sliders (some for me and some for my parents). These are so easy and will be the first thing gone at your Superbowl gathering.
