Rosemary Elaine Mullally passed away on Monday, October 2, 2023, at her home in Honesdale, Pennsylvania. Born to Wilbert Western and Ruby Faye Hodge in San Antonio, Texas, Rosemary grew up in Davis, California.  Rosemary attended both Davis High School and UC Davis. She was a Fellow of the Life (insurance) Management Institute (FLMI) and worked in several countries as Consular Associate as she accompanied her husband with the US Foreign Service. In all Rosemary lived in over 14 different countries on four continents.  Rosemary was an extraordinary woman with a beautiful soul, a courageous heart, an amazing mind, and a strong sense of ethics and loyalty.  She had a terrific sense of humor, enjoyed music, and loved cooking and spending time with family and friends.  She maintained a very popular cooking blog, “Cooking in Sens” to chronicle her wide-ranging cooking talent. Rosemary is survived by her husband Kevin, her daughter Jade and granddaughters Nikki Rose and Simone Elaine as well as her brothers, Michael and David, and sisters, Elizabeth, Jackie, and Sydney. She was pre-deceased by her son Brian. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 10th at 10am at Hessling Murray Funeral Home, 428 Main St. Honesdale. Interment will follow in Glen Dyberry Cemetery, Honesdale, PA. A memorial celebration will be announced at a later date.
