A handful of local athletes will be heading to the Adidas Track Nationals in North Carolina this weekend, including the Fallsburg boys 4x100 team, who ran a time of 43.66 on Friday.
Tri-Valley’s Kane Poje threw a 53-11.25 in the shot put to top the Class C finals and came in 8th overall in the merged class results, and Anna Furman finished 2nd in the Class C steeplechase. TV will send Van Furman, Kane Poje and Anna Furman to the New Balance Nationals this weekend in Philadelphia.
Monticello’s girls 4x100 relay team finished first in their heat on Friday, running their season’s best time of 50.81.
