LIBERTY — The Sullivan Catskills Visitors Assn. (SCVA) is seeking a new President and CEO to replace long-time President and CEO Roberta Byron-Lockwood, who announced her retirement late last year.

“They are big shoes to fill,” SCVA Board Chair Eric Frances said Friday morning. “Roberta said she will stick around until we find the right person. “We'll be fine.”

Frances reported that the search committee will be interviewing “four or five” candidates this week.

“We had a pretty decent response and have candidates with great experience,” Frances said on Friday. “The committee will be having face-to-face [interviews] next week.

A big plus, according to Frances is, “Everybody who applied is excited about the area.”
