Sharon Space passed away at the age of 84. She is survived by her son Steven Hay, daugher-in-law, Eileen and grandchild Valen of Chatham, NY. She was born in Addison, NY to Arloween Space. She has many cousins in the Steuben area of NY, including:  Marjorie Wilson-Starz , Carl Space, Bill Space and Ann Space-White. She was most recently married to the late Edward W. Bamberger. 

She had many jobs starting as a member of the entertainment staff  for cruise lines. She earned her BA at Brooklyn College. She later earned her counseling credentials for Alcohol and Substance abuse from NY State. She was a photographer and columnist for this newspaper.

Her education included more than 1000 hours of continuing education credits. She was a counselor at many institutes including: Conifer Park, Daytop and St. Vincent’s Hospital.

In Liberty she was a member of VFW, the Elks, Sullivan County Conservation Club, Sullivan County Long Beards, the Red Hats and others.

Memorial service: Sunday, Oct 22, at 9am. We will serve coffee, danish, fruit in fellowship upstairs followed by a 10am church service. The address for MSBF Ministries is 106 Aden Rd., Liberty, NY.
