SWAN LAKE — County leaders, firefighters, police officers, emergency service personnel, and friends and family gathered on Sunday afternoon to witness the unveiling of the Richard A. Martinkovic Public Safety Training Center.

The county’s Emergency Services Training Center was renamed in honor of Martinkovic, a lifelong resident of Liberty and dedicated member of the fire service, who was instrumental in the creation of the training center so that all Sullivan County EMS members could use it.
