SULLIVAN COUNTY — Voting for the Sullivan County Primary Elections is coming up on June 24. A number of races will be taking place for various offices.
Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office
Two candidates are running for the position of Sullivan County Sheriff on the Republican line. Tim Dymond of 80 John George Road in Grahamsville will be facing off against incumbent Michael A. Schiff of 55 Old Monticello Road in Ferndale for the position of Sullivan County Sheriff on the Republican line in November.
Bethel Town Council
Four Democratic Party candidates are running for two Council Member positions for the Town of Bethel on the November ballot. Their names are Cliff Manning of 32 Central Avenue in Kauneonga Lake, Nicole Newick of 45 Gale Road in MongaupValley, John Maniec of 67 Royce Road in Kauneonga Lake and Paula Moss of 110 Lake Shore Drive, Smallwood. Voters will be able to vote for 2 candidates
Town of Rockland Justice
Two candidates will be on the Republican line for the Rockland Town Justice nomination for November’s general election. The candidates are Elwin Wood of 290 Gulf Road in Roscoe and Alexandra E. Vagnone of 77 Tuttle Hill Road in Livingston Manor. Incumbent Peter Feinberg will not be running this year.
Fallsburg District 3 County Committee
Four candidates will be running under the Democratic line to become a member of the Party’s County Committee for Fallsburg District 3.
Voters will be able to vote for 2 of the 4 candidates. Their names are Nathan Steingart of 189 Renner Road in Mountaindale, Ira Steingart of 41 Deforest Drive in South Falls-burg, Stanley I. Wagner of Loch Sheldrake and Pamela A. Krevoy-Wagner of 5 West End Drive in Loch Sheldrake.
Fallsburg District 2 County Committee
Four candidates are running for two positions under the Republican line for the position of a County Committee Member, Fallsburg District 2.
Voters will be able to vote for 2 candidates.
They are Joseph B. Perrello, Sr., Karen L. Perrello, both of 79 Old Falls Road in Fallsburg, Jeff Wiener of 26 South End Avenue in Loch Sheldrake and James Ginty of 3 Renner Road in Mountaindale.
Early Voting Information
Early Voting for the Sullivan County 2025 Primary Elections will take place from Saturday, June 14 to Sunday June 22.
Voting will take place at the Sullivan County Board of Elections Office on the Ground Floor of the Government Center, located at 100 North Street in Monticello and the Sullivan County Public Health located on 50 Community Lane in Liberty.
Both locations are in compliance with the American Disabilities Act (ADA).
All Sullivan County registered voters who belong to the party holding a primary are eligible to vote at these locations and all voters who cast a ballot during this Early Voting period will not be allowed to vote on Primary Day.

9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Tuesday, June 17
Noon to 8 p.m.
• Wednesday, June 18
9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Thursday, June 19
Noon to 8 p.m.
• Friday/Saturday/Sunday
June 20, 21, 22
