On December 24, community members gathered on a frigid evening at the Plaza Mall outside ShopRite in Liberty for the annual “tallest menorah” lighting. 

Hosted by Chabad of Swan Lake in Liberty, the evening featured hot beverages and latkes, dancing and music provided by Shmuly Hurwitz. 

When the time came, members of the Liberty Fire Department were on hand with a ladder truck to help Rabbi Yossi Hurwitz light the candles and commemorate another night of Chanukah.
