Thomas J. Bury, retired Postmaster, died on Friday, December 18, 2020 in Helena, Montana. He was 74. The son of the late Millard and Ethel Bury, he was born in Roscoe, NY on February 14, 1946. He was married to Donna Krantz Bury.

Tom served in the US Navy from November 4, 1965 to October 15, 1969 which included a tour in Vietnam. He was an honorary member of the Buck Ridge Rod & Gun Club, past member of the Jeffersonville Volunteer Ambulance Corps and the Jeffersonville Volunteer Fire Department. His passion was baseball, and he umpired for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Donna of Helena, MT and his sons Timothy J. Bury and wife, Julie, of Helena, MT, Bryan C. Bury of Helena, MT, and Michael E. Bury of Glendale, NY, eight grandchildren, Zachary Bury, Emily Anspach, Sarah Bury, Makayla Bury, Ravin Bury, Derek Bury, Tjay Bury and Mia Bury all of Helena, MT.

There was no visitation. Graveside services were held on January 8, 2021 at Fort Harrison, Helena, MT.
