Loving father to his children

Travis M. Canfield, 32, of Tyler Hill, PA, tragically passed away in a motor vehicle accident on November 5, 2023, on Callicoon Road in Damascus, PA.

Travis is survived by his beautiful wife: Karson (Mashatt); and four beloved children: Parker, Natalie, Mason and Brantley. He is also survived by his loving parents: Shawn Canfield (Jill Gorr) and Jody Canfield (Lydia Wiley); a sister: Brianna Canfield; a nephew: Wyatt Canfield; paternal grandparents: Ron and Martha (Munga) Canfield, and maternal grandparent: Wendy Adams; as well as, many other family members whose lives he touched.

Travis held many titles in his life, husband, son, grandson, logger, friend, but his favorite role was being a father. He loved nothing more than spending time with his wife and four young children. He doted on them and adored being a husband and father completely.  It was the role he was meant to fill. He was always there for his family whether he was playing catch, grilling their favorite meal, giving them rides in his ATV, attending father-daughter dances, and hosting Family Fun Days. He offered them all the love his big heart had, and they were the apple of his eyes.

While Travis left us far too soon, the impact he had on his family, friends, and community will be felt for years to come. His contagious smile, cheerfulness, and willingness to help others in need will never be forgotten. We will truly miss him.

Travis’ family will host a visitation on Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Calkins Baptist Church, 527 Calkins Road, Milanville, PA. Services will follow at 2:30 pm., with repast to follow the services at the church. Memorial contributions can be made in his name to the Calkins Baptist Church.

Expressions of sympathy can be sent to the family at www.nepacremation.com.
