MONTICELLO — Members of the Monticello Democratic Party assembled at the Monticello Firehouse to make their voices heard in the Village Primaries on Tuesday, January 28.
Incumbent Village Trustee John Barbarite won convincingly with his 66 votes, to challenger Joel Reyes’ 17.
Barbarite’s standing as the front-runner for the trustee position was cemented by this win.
Barbarite will run on the Democratic line in the next Special Village Election on March 18th. As of presstime, Barbarite will be running unopposed.
