JEFFERSONVILLE – The Callicoon Town Board honored two Eagle Scouts on Monday, July 8, for projects they completed for the town.

Dillan Hanslmaier painted and planted at the Town Hall at 19 Legion Street in Jeffersonville, and Colin Kavleski did a post and rail fence at the Town Park.

Town Supervisor Tom Bose presented each of the Eagle Scouts with an Award of Achievement.

The award reads, “In recognition of commitment to their community through dedication, determination and hard work to earn the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest and most prestigious rank attainable in the Scouts of America.”

“They spent a lot of time in getting these projects done and we’re just grateful for that,” said Bose. “It really is amazing.”
