“Way to Go 7th and 8th Grade Students!”

TRI-VALLEY —On Thursday, February 22, a special ceremony was held at Tri-Valley Central School for 7th and 8th grade students. The assembly, put on by the 7th and 8th grade teachers, recognized students for achieving Perfect Attendance, Honor Roll, High Honor Roll, and Principal’s Honor Roll for the first quarter.

Special awards were also given to students who the 7th and 8th grade teachers selected as going above and beyond expectations inside and outside of the classroom. In the 8th grade, Adam Babcock and Wyatt Chaboty won awards for Academic Excellence, Ava Bush and Abby Rusin won awards for Leadership, Tim Kufert and Cheyenne Pen won awards for Outstanding Work Ethic, Michael Clark and Leland Reinshagen won awards for Most Improved, Kenn Green and Paxton Mead won awards for Outstanding Participation, and Matthew Cuji and Matthew Ortiz won awards for Exemplary Collaboration.

In the 7th grade, Jonielis Cholula-Jiminez and Samantha Carroll won awards for Academic Excellence, Alex Meade and Sylus Nichols won awards for Leadership, Ali Bashir and Danna Cando-Pilatasig won awards for Outstanding Work Ethic, Charles Altman, Justin Mergendahl, and Richard Zheliazouski won awards for Most Improved, Samiyah Allen and Mason Witthohn won awards for Outstanding Participation, and Jordan Steinhilber and Justice Whitted won awards for Exemplary Collaboration.

Congratulations to all of the students who were recognized. We are very, very proud of all of their accomplishments!
