William E. Carroll, III (Bill) of Roscoe, New York, died on Friday, July 1, 2022, at his home on Tennanah Lake, New York.
The son of Barbara Vorse Carroll and the late William E. Carroll, Jr., Bill was born in Gardner, Massachusetts. He was 59 years of age.
Bill was a beloved husband, son, brother, and uncle. He is survived by his wife, Alicia McCausland Carroll, his mother, Barbara Niemi, Gardner, Massachusetts, along with three sisters and brother, Joyce Fletcher and her husband, Jim Fletcher, Gardner, Massachusetts, Nancy Williams and her husband, Keith Williams, Athol, Massachusetts, Lynn Carroll, Greensboro, North Carolina, James Carroll and his wife, Karen Carroll, Tenants Harbor, Maine, all of his loving nieces and nephews, great-nephew, Luke, and great-niece, Joey.
Bill graduated from St. Anselm College, New Hampshire, and went on to have a 30+ year career as a senior executive in the music industry, most recently at C3 Management, Capitol Music Group, and Vagrant, Elektra, and London Records.
Bill was passionate about music, a true dog lover, big football fan, communicant of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Obernburg, New York, a volunteer at The Roscoe Shepherd’s Food Pantry, and a good friend to so many. He will be remembered always for his great sense of humor and his kindness and compassion for all - humans, animals, and the U.S.A.
A mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at St. Mary’s Church, Obernburg, New York, Father George E. Baker, officiant. Burial immediately following the mass in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
