WOODRIDGE — The Village Board voted in favor of their 2024-2025 budget in a 3-1 vote. The passing came with a few caveats pertaining to various issues that require further discussion at a public work session on Tuesday, June 25th at 6 p.m.
Prior to the vote, a public hearing to discuss the new budget, which heard the voices of Village residents and officials. Deputy Mayor Leni Binder ran the meeting.
The board explained that this would be an updated version of the previous approved budget, which would update a few items – however village officials told the Democrat that the residential sanitation rates will remain unchanged from last year.
