It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Eleanor Boyd Huggler. She passed away at her home on March 27, 2022, in Nanuet, NY. She was 95 years old. Eleanor was the daughter of Josephine and Lodi Boyd, born on July 21, 1926 in White Sulphur, NY. She graduated from St Luke’s Nursing School in New York City. Eleanor continued working as a nurse at St. Luke’s Hospital in New York City and later went to Hamilton Avenue Hospital in Monticello, NY. She was a caring nurse who was always available to her family and friends for medical advice and help. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
She married William Huggler and had three daughters with him. She is survived by her daughter Kathy Huggler and Deborah Rodvelt, as well as a brother Raymond Boyd Sr. and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband William Huggler and her daughter Nancy Scarpeti.
She was loved and will truly be missed. A private memorial will be held.
