Gloria V. Stevens, of Grahamsville, NY, passed away on November 9, 2024 at home. She was 94.

She was the daughter of the late Charles A. Doetsch and Helen E. Dorrer, born on October 19, 1930 in Delaware, NY.

Gloria worked as a teacher for the Tri-Valley School District until her retirement in 1992. She was very involved in her church, Grahamsville United Methodist Church, and dedicated to her faith. In her free time, she was an avid Scrabble player.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son Jerry Stevens and his companion Mary Jayne Norton and her children Hannah and Joshua; her brother David Doetsch; as well as several sisters-in-law, and nieces and nephews. She now joins in Heaven her husband Elmer Stevens, Sr.; and brothers Gerald, Eugene and Warren Doetsch.

A memorial visitation will be held from 12 to 2pm on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, NY 12788. A memorial service will be held at 1:30pm at the funeral home.
