Harry Hust, age 90, of North Branch, a retired Dairy Farmer, died Sunday, December 12, 2021 at Bethany Village in Honesdale, PA. Son of the late Floyd and Margaret Sommer Hust, Harry was born February 2, 1931 in North Branch.
Harry loved to work, he was an avid farmer and enjoyed his antique cars and watching the antique tractor parades.
Harry is survived by his daughters Darlene Hust Bingham and her husband Jimmy of North Branch; Lisa Mayenzet of North Branch; his grandchildren Danita and her husband Rob, Mara and her husband Brett, and Brandon; two great-grandchildren; by his sister Ruth Dailey of Lake Huntington, nieces Sally Darling and her husband Glen, Donna Ackermann and her husband William, nephew Robert Dailey and his wife Beverly, and his significant other Alice Turner.
He was predeceased by his devoted wife Mildred (Rutledge) Hust, by his sister Dorothy Cherry and by his nephew Lester Dailey.
Friends may call on Thursday, December 16, 2021 from 4-7 PM at Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home, 34 Upper Main Street, Callicoon, NY. The funeral service will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021 at 11 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Galilee, PA.
