Henrietta L. Phelps passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at Garnet Health Medical Center.

She was the daughter of the late Pearl Bilyou and Harry Huebsch, born on January 17, 1932, in Liberty, NY.

She tended to many people throughout her career as a nurse at Liberty Loomis Hospital, she was dedicated to her patients and more so to her family. She was the glue that held them all together. If they weren’t coming for her delicious baked treats, it was her amazing cooking. Hen always stayed active in her community, from being a member of the VFW, volunteering at the food pantry, being a Granny at Liberty High School, or having Coffee time at Sullivan County Adult Care Center. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Liberty. She loved dogs especially Darling and Ezzie. When she wasn’t traveling or spending time with her family, she was watching the Food Network Channel, or QVC. She will be deeply missed by everyone that knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Henry) Butzgy, her grandchildren Traci (Anthony) Hulse, Aj (Ryan) Carlott, Chris Carlott, Cameo (Barry Tice) Carlott, her great-grandchildren Walter Rivenburg, Nicolas Rivenburg, Amanda Rivenburg, Harley Rivenburg, Sister Mable and brother Harry Lee, many great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Ralph Phelps, son Alex “Butch” Carlott, sisters Jean, Rosey, Eldora, brothers, Lester, Clarence, Carl, and granddaughter Terre Ann.

In lieu of flowers donations in Henrietta’s name can be made to Livingston Manor Volunteer Ambulance Corps.

Memorial visitation will be on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at Colonial Ramsay Funeral Home, 275 South Main Street, Liberty, NY 12754 from 1:00pm-3:00pm.  A funeral service will begin at the funeral home at 2:30 with Pastor Larry Powell officiating.
