The Jeffersonville Fire Departments Chicken BBQ last weekend was a huge success serving over 900 delicious takeout dinners! Thank you to the Fire Department, the volunteers and everyone that came out and supported them! Also, the ice cream they had for dessert was the best – Ri’s Farm Made Ice Cream from Myers Century Farm !

The Catskill Outdoorsman hosted a tournament last week along with the Sullivan West Central School District Elementary School Archery Club. Local business owner, Brett Erdman Contracting, paid all entry fees so that the entire club members were able to participate! Individuals also donated funds for pizza from Michelangelo’s Restaurant & Pizzeria. Local competitive archers, Laura Nelson and Noah Eisenhardt, explained the aspects of being a sponsored shooter while other local community members gave demonstrations, sharing their love of the sport. SW High School students assisted with scoring and the overall set up of the range. A great fun-filled community event for both students and parents. Many thanks to Ryan for hosting, Brett for making it possible for everyone to participate and Anna Chance Steppich for helping me to share the news!
