Journey to JURNI

Posted

I spent the night in Cochecton, NY. Not at a hotel, but rather at JURNI located at 420 Bernas Road, a new healing center open round the clock seven days a week.

Co-owned by local entrepreneurs, Jen Bernas and Janayna Brockner, JURNI offers full body massage, reflexology, Reiki, and many other healing modalities. However, their specialty is the Energy Enhancement System, a/k/a EE System, which until now could not found in this area.

The EE System was developed over 20 years by Dr. Sandra Rose Michael, and according Dr. Michael’s website, https://eesystem.com/, “generates multiple bio-active life enhancing energy fields including scalar waves, which can allow cell regeneration, improve immune function, provide relief from pain, detox the body, elevate moods, and assist in balancing right and left brain hemispheres.” It could conceivably help any ailment. Mine is cancer.

Even though the EE System and its effects are backed by published clinical studies, and numerous testimonies can be found on YouTube, and I, personally, know someone who shrunk a cancerous tumor using this system alone, it still sounded very woohoo to me. But the proof is in the pudding is what I always say. I decided to experience JURNI’s EE System myself, at first, via a few one-hour sessions at $40 per.

JURNI exudes a sense of calm, hope and wellness. Walls are painted in either pale or dark purple depending on the room. The main lobby, bathroom and shower areas in the slightest hint of purple, and the room containing the actual EE System in a very deep purple.

For daytime clients, there are eight Zero Gravity chairs that you can arrange however you wish. Yes, there might be other people in the room, but you can arrange your personal chair to face whichever way you wish. Away from others is what I chose.

Nighttime clients get a full-size clean bed, though you must provide your own bedding. I brought a waterproof bamboo mattress protector to cover my mattress. I believe JURNI will follow suit with said washable mattress covers on all beds.

Night or day, blankets, eye masks, and water are available for free, or you may bring your own. Fragrances, pets, shoes, lights (other than the System lights) and talking (unless you are with a family or friend group) are not allowed in the EE room. (You wouldn’t want to talk anyway.) Shoe covers are available for those who don’t want to remove their shoes.

It was right after my 4th immunotherapy infusion that I decided to stay overnight at JURNI. After each infusion, I typically have about four days of adverse reactions ranging from swollen glands to sleeplessness to itching-burning skin to high anxiety to heart palpitations. In one night at JURNI, my adverse reactions to the drug were gone. One time, however, is not enough to say that the EE System alone was responsible. I’ll go overnight again to double and triple check. One thing I can say, I always feel like a totally different person afterwards. A calm person.

JURNI is having a free Mother’s Day Festival on Saturday, May 11th from 10am-4pm. This festival will feature many different types of healing professionals, and maybe even a peek at the EE System. For more information visit: https://jurnihealing.com/ or call (845) 932-5113.
