Priscilla DaVall of Ferndale, NY a retired Lunch Server at Monticello Central School District, and a lifelong area resident, died Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at her home. She was 82.
The daughter of the late Percy J. and Elizabeth N. Jones Decker, she was born April 16, 1942 in Warwick, New York.
Priscilla enjoyed recipes and cooking. She was very creative and used to carve the top of shelf mushrooms into designs. She loved elephants and angels and she will be remembered for her “spicy” personality.
Survivors include her husband, Ira C. DaVall, at home; children, James Shirk of Monticello, NY, Ira DaVall and his wife Gail of Wheaton, IL, Dawn DaVall of NC, Marie DaVall and her companion Timothy Coady of Monticello, NY and Charles DaVall and his wife Nancy of Springfield, VT; her siblings including her sister, Nancy Naccarato; her grandchildren, Donovan, Marc, Aubrie, Allanaah, Amanda, Anthony and Aelis; many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions in Priscilla’s name may be made to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties, 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550.
