SULLIVAN COUNTY – After releasing their all-league girls basketball teams, the Basketball Coaches Association of New York (BCANY) released their boys basketball All-Star list. Other award winners included Sportsmanship, Player of the Year, Coach of the Year, Three-point Champion and Free Throw Champion.

For Class A, Dylan Hardy and Joseph Russo, both seniors from Monticello, were named as All-Stars. Russo was also the Class A Free-Throw Champion, shooting 56/68 for an impressive 82.3 percent.

The Class B All-Stars included Fallsburg’s Eugene Johnson and Liberty’s Cody Ricco. Liberty was also named as the Sportsmanship Award winner for Class B.

Class C and D were combined, and featured six county hoopers on the All-Star list. Trai Kaufmann and Sean Furler from Eldred, Livingston Manor’s Daniel Tolbert, Anthony Teipelke and Aiden Johnston from Roscoe and Sullivan West’s Andrew Hubert headlined the list.

Roscoe won the Class C/D Sportsmanship Award, and Aiden Johnston was the C/D Free-Throw Champion shooting 75 percent.
