Swinging into spring!

GRAHAMSVILLE – Tri-Valley began their 2021-22 campaign on Monday against the Fallsburg Comets. The Bears got the bats going early, and a dominant outing by Brian Kelly led to a 16-2 win. David Allison had a home run in the game, one of his three hits on the day.

High School (cont.)

Baseball

Monticello has struggled offensively early in the season. Dropping each of their first three games. Most recently, an 11-1 loss to Beacon on Monday afternoon.

Softball

The Lady Bulldogs opened their season with a big win over Liberty on Tuesday afternoon. Sullivan West put up 16 runs while only giving up one to the Lady Indians who are now 0-3 in the early spring season.

Track and Field

Monticello hosted a meet yesterday where the various teams across Sullivan County competed. Results will be in Tuesday’s edition of the Sullivan County Democrat.
