Tammy Lee Pilny of Jeffersonville, NY a lifelong area resident, died Sunday, June 16, 2024 surrounded by love. She was only 54, but lived a beautiful life in that short time.

The daughter of John C. Lennon, Jr. and Nora Mae Hannon, she was born February 13, 1970 in Middletown, NY.

Family meant everything to Tammy; especially her grandchildren— just a few of the people who will miss her most. Affectionately known as “GiGi”, her grandkids always brought her immense amounts of joy, and are some of the reasons why she fought her battle so fiercely.

Tammy was also loved and supported by her husband JJ, they had a beautiful marriage of 33 years. Tammy co-owned and operated her own hair/nail salon, where she built relationships with clients over the years, and spent each day working alongside her best friend.

In addition to the many beautiful relationships Tammy built throughout her life, Tammy also loved the outdoors. Soaking in the sunshine at the pool or beach in the summer, and riding snowmobiles in the winter were just a few of her favorite things to do.

Tammy’s family will miss her forever, but they are incredibly proud and grateful to have known such a dedicated, strong and brave woman— one who raised her kids to be the same, and imparted that same perseverance in each of her family members.

Survivors include her husband, John J. Pilny, at home; her daughters, Kasi Reimer and her husband Brad of Hortonville, NY and Taylor Fisk and her husband Kenny of Livingston Manor, NY; her father, John C. Lennon Jr.; her mother, Nora Hannon of Jeffersonville, NY; two brothers, Ron Lennon of Jeffersonville, NY and Troy Lennon of Jacksonville, FL; her beloved grandchildren, Everly Reimer, Emerson Reimer, Parker Fisk and Rori Fisk; her nephew, Cody Lennon; many cousins; and her dog, Jager.

Memorial services were held at the Youngsville Fire House on Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 2:00-5:00 with services beginning at 2:30.

Memorial contributions in Tammy’s name may be made to Ride2Survive Sullivan County Inc., PO Box 282, Youngsville, NY 12791.
