MOUNTAINDALE  — A deadly accident claimed the lives of two men Thursday night on Church Road. The vehicle had reportedly overturned, rolled down an embankment. It then hit a tree and burst into flames. Both occupants in the car perished.

According to RocklandDaily.com, the accident occurred shortly after 10 p.m.

At the scene to assist were Catskills Hatzolah among other emergency personnel. To maintain kavod hameis, Chevra Kadisha was present at the location.

According to Yeshiva World News, Yisroel Sholom (ben Yaakov) Oshri Z”L from the Belzer Community in Boro Park and Mendel (ben Moshe) Weinberger Z”L from the Satmar Kehilla were recognized as the victims.
