What in the world is going on with our Congress?  We elect congressmen to go to Washington to represent us and, by the way, we pay them pretty good salaries.  They are supposed to represent we the people.

Recently, the Senate passed a very good BIPARTISON bill regarding our border problems and sent it down to the house for  their passage but, guess what, they went to a former president and he advised them not to take action on the bill because he was planning to use this problem as part of his bid for the presidency this fall. Is this representing the people who are paying their salary?  I think not.  How can a man facing over 90 indictments have so much influence over our representatives? Our Constitution framers were smart enough not to give anyone absolute immunity.

On top of this outrageous situation, we have a congresswoman, new name of “Moscow Marjory” who does not represent those who elected her, but listens to a guy named  Putin.  She has become the pride and joy of the Soviet Press.

Finally, some Bipartisan action from Congress.  Over the past weekend, they passed the much needed foreign aid bill that was needed to help Ukraine fight off Putin’s attack much to the chagrin of Putin and his cohort “Moscow Marjory”.  Of course, she couldn’t let it end there, she had to exert her venom and push for the removal of House Speaker Johnson who is to be commended for his brave action defying the MAGA right wing of Congress.  Hats off to Johnson!

I have faith in the American voters and I’m sure they will do what is right in November.
