SULLIVAN COUNTY - The Aktion Club of Sullivan County is always ready and willing to help with community service activities.

During the month of November, in addition to making cards for distribution to Veterans, they collected non-perishable food items from club members, agency reps and Kiwanis Co-Advisors and had fun decorating and filling baskets that were distributed to needy families in several school districts in the County as well as to the Federation for the Homeless and United Way of Sullivan County.

The club, which is co-sponsored by the Kiwanis Clubs of Monticello and Woodridge, New York, is comprised of individuals with various disabilities and affiliated with The Arc Greater Hudson Valley, New Hope Community and The Center for Discovery.
