Local ceramicist and pottery teacher Nonna Hall of Eldred works with Victoria Skudhan of Cochecton making up butterfly balls-clay balls rolled with pollinators’ favored flower seeds. During the Butterfly Bike Ride and Seed Toss sponsored by the Greater Barryville Chamber of Commerce on October 20th, the balls will be tossed along Route 97 to attract endangered butterflies and other pollinators to our fields and grasslands.
