KUTZTOWN, PA – Gabrielle Cohen, a 2022 graduate of Sullivan West and Jeffersonville native, was among three Kutztown University women golfers to be recognized as 2024 Women’s Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholars. Cohen joined teammates Brooke Graham and Rhi Stuz in earning the recognition for the first time.

A total of 1,497 golfers across multiple divisions were named All-American Scholars. A grade point average (GPA) better than 3.50 must be attained for a student-athlete to be eligible, as well as having played in at least 50 percent of the institution’s regularly scheduled competitive rounds through the team’s conference championship, during the year in which they were nominated.

Cohen was named a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Scholar-Athlete following her freshman year last year. This year, the sophomore competed in all 13 rounds during the fall and spring regular-season tournaments before placing 27th overall at the PSACs with a weekend score of 263 (89-87-87).

On top of earning All-American Scholar status, Cohen was also among a record 133 student-athletes from Kutzdown to earn Division 2 Athletic Directors Association (D2 ADA) Academic Achievement Award status, announced last week.

A student-athlete must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, have completed a minimum of two years (four semesters) of college-level work at a two or four-year institution and have been an active member of an intercollegiate team during the academic year to qualify for this award.

1,919 student-athletes were honored with this award by the PSAC.
