CALLICOON — The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Dept. made quick work of a report of a white male who had exposed himself to a jogger on River Rd., Callicoon on Monday, September 30.

The victim told Sheriff Deputies Ryan Lowe and Josef Haas how she was running on River Rd., Callicoon, when a blue car passed her multiple times and then a white male got out, exposed his genitals, masturbated and then fled.

After interviewing the victim the police used video evidence to determine that the person was driving a Blue Hyundai Elantra with PA plates and front end damage.

As the two deputies were on patrol last Friday, October 4, they spotted the car in North Branch that fit the description.

“The same two deputies were on patrol on October 4 in North Branch when they observed the car and made a stop,” Sulllivan County Undersheriff Eric Chaboty said. “The suspect was interviewed and admitted to the act.”

Noah Kimmel, of 2760 Hancock Way in Equinunk, PA, 20 years old, was charged with Public Lewdness, a Class B Misdemeanor.

He was released on an appearance ticket and will go before the Town of Delaware Town Justice on November 4 at 7:30 p.m.

“They [the deputies] were really paying attention,” Chaboty said.
