Robert William Robisch of Littlestown, PA, a retired electrical engineer, died at the age of 90 on August 3. The son of the late Irving C. Robisch and Beatrice Sciler Robisch of Jeffersonville, NY, he was born March 13, 1933 in Brooklyn, NY and spent his early life in Brooklyn and on his grandfather’s farm in Jeffersonville, NY. 

Bob graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY, class of 1954, with a B.E.E. Degree in Electrical Engineering and commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S Air Force Reserve. Lt. Robisch was stationed at Charleston Air Force Base, Charleston, SC and during active duty he married Joan Haber of Castleton-on-Hudson, NY on September 12, 1955. 

Following active duty, Bob spent 37 years with Martin Marietta, now Lockheed Martin, in their Cement and Aerospace Divisions. While working for the Cement Division he received Martin Marietta’s highest individual award, the “Thomas Jefferson Cup,” for excellence in engineering. During his working career in industrial power and control he was registered as a Professional Engineer in the states of New York, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Florida; a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers and the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers. 

Bob retired in Orlando, FL as a consultant at the age of 66 and relocated to Littlestown, PA to be closer to family. Bob enjoyed deer hunting and was a member of the Delaware Hunting Club in Westbrookville, NY and a Life and Endowment member of the National Rifle Association of America. In his later years Bob enjoyed actively playing Racquet Ball in challenge courts and was an ardent reader. 

In February 2021 Bob lost his wife, the love of his life, after 65 years of marriage. Bob is survived by his daughter, Wendy A. Krebs, of Littlestown, PA; son Eric A. Robisch of Kill Devil Hills, NC; granddaughter Emily Rosselle of Manhatten, NY and grandson Tenzin F. Robisch of Kill Devil Hills, NC. 

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 16 at the First Presbyterian Church of Jeffersonville, where Bob was a member. Burial will be in the Hortonville Cemetery in Hortonville, NY.
