MONTICELLO — The Sullivan County Conservation Club recently announced that Alexandra Dietz and Gabriella Jones were the recipients of the club’s annual Hans Diercksen Memorial College Scholarship awards.  Each year, two $1000 scholarships are presented to graduating seniors who are chosen based on their affiliation with the club, and on their academic, community and conservation achievements.  Alexandra will be attending SUNY Brockport in the fall, and plans to pursue studies in nursing.  Gabriella is currently an EMT, and plans to attend Sullivan County Community College on her way to a career in emergency medicine. Both students are long-time junior members of the Conservation Club, and very deserving of this honor. The club wishes them both the best as they make their futures happen.
