The 2024 Sullivan 180 Healthiest Fire Department Challenge is getting closer to the finish line. As we move into the sixth month of the year, Monticello is still holding a commanding lead in first place with 386 points. Roscoe-Rockland Fire Department continues to occupy the second spot with 318 points, and Kauneonga Lake Fire Department rounds out the top three with 286.

Over the weekend, many departments traveled to Collin’s Park for the first annual Smallwood-Mongaup Valley F.D. Kickball Tournament. The games began at 9 a.m. and the bracket did not end until 3 p.m. When all was said and done, Smallwood took home the first place trophy, followed by White Lake in second and Bloomingburg in third place.
