As we wrap up the last week of June, the Healthiest Fire Department is really heating up. Monticello is leading the pack with an impressive 440 points, followed closely by Roscoe-Rockland with 403 and Kauneonga Lake with 327 points.

This week, the fire departments have truly gone above and beyond. Their active participation in a heat exhaustion awareness class, efforts in conducting litter clean-ups and choices of healthy snacks demonstrate their dedication to the Healthiest Fire Department Challenge - all while there was an all-firefighters-on-deck call at Russell Farm this week. We believe Wendy Kraack said it best, “We all go about our lives in our own way, but we sure do come together when it is needed.”
